I am in the same situation. Well, actually, my 1978 LUV Mikado came without seatbelts. Not sure if the previous owner had something against seat belts or just didn't want the hassle of reinstalling them with the aftermarket bucket seats. I've seen some "universal" retractable belts, but I'm not convinced that I have the clearance to fit the retractor.

Your truck looks nice, by the way. My 1978 is a 2WD and was originally yellow as well. It is currently sprayed flat black, but it being rolled back to yellow.

Perfect match to my seat color.

I pulled my seatbelts out of a 99 s10 to match the color of my bucket seats and they almost fit perfectly. The only thing I had to modify was a little tab sticking out from the recoil box. But a big enough hammer told it to go away. 8) They work fine and they're the right length, but you also need the female end too.
