Does anyone know if this swap will work? I don't see why it wouldn't but just thought I'd ask before I waste my money. I found one here locally thats in really good shape. I want to pick it up and use it if it will fit. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks

Should fit , I think the only real difference is the tail lights.

Thats what I think too. But it never hurts to get another opinion. Especially with all this knowledge floating around. Thats also another reason I want the bed I think the tail lights look better.

I like the tails on the later models too, my buddy has a 79 bed on a 74 just for that reason .

I plan on putting an 80 on my 73. It is all good until you hit 81's.
