Hey, guys. Just picked up a 1980 4x4. In the middle of getting it back on the road and finding all sorts of surprises left by the previous owners. I looked all over the forums and scoured my Haynes manual and can't find there this vacuum line is supposed to go. It's coming from the front end of the oil pan, close to the filter, looks to be 3/8 diameter. Anyone have a clue?

I ran it to my vacuum canister on the firewall. U can put it to the intake as well its a vapor line. Do not plug it

It goes to the check and relief valve on the firewall, right side. Here is a pic from the manual.

Thanks a lot for the responses. I ended up finding some random diagram that had it in there. We're really laying into this truck; pretty excited about it. I'll post some pictures when it's looking good(er). Thanks again
