Can this happen or is the bell housing different for the 72 to 75s compared to the 76 and up ? Thanks guys

'80 luv tranny has the starter on the right(passenger) side & has a cable clutch. '75 has a hydraulic clutch, what side is the starter on?

My 80 is an auto and my buddy had a motor and 4 spd out of his 75 and the pedals I'm not sure right off the top of my head to be honest

I think the 75 had the early engine, if the engine has the intake and exhaust on the same side then the trans won't work in your 80.

Dang it yeah the 72 to 75 had the 2 valve cover motor with the intake on the driver side
