so a few months back i put a motor in my Luv got her runing and smoged
I was wondering has any one ever put A/C in a n on A/c Luv
And guys i had to get a new stock carb this place sent me a rebuilt and it works great and smog legal for us in ca

A/C can be done in a non a/c LUV. You would either need to get all the needed parts off a doner truck, or do an aftermarket/custom conversion. Talk to some A/C shops in your area. Either way.... it will be pricey.

I am converting to V8 and have the motor bracket for the stock motor from a 79 I think there is a crank pulley , a idler pulley and a bracket for the passengerside of the motor . All the tubing os aluminum flare style . The tough part is finding the evaporator section for under the dash .

I have thought about pulling the entire assembly heater core and all and mounting a universal style under the dash and behind the glove box . One day i will have a/c in a driver .

Heres the parts truck that I got my motor out of then sold it for 50 bucks less than what I paid for it with no motor
