ok well thanks for all the info! im thinking i'll just rewire the fuel pump since i cant find those relays anywhere. and i wish my jeep could get stuck in the snow! ive never been able to get it stuck, especially now that its locked front and rear :D

the itty bitty tires aid the getting stuck quite a bit lol. we didnt get stuck last night but we didnt push on much farther after i started dragging the diff in the snow

that tends to happen with small tires. ive got some 44''s,or 37''s that will solve your problem :D

yessir it will, i think i read something about the clutches beign a different size so bring over the clutch/flywheel. when i bought my spare engine it had a different size clutch so i went with the flywheel with the bigger clutch :egeek
man i would need a helluva lift to clear 37's i put a 32 on the back end to see how it would fit... not well  mine are something like 25"

The 4x4 trans has the transfer case attached to it, it will bolt up but the rear mount won't fit, driveshaft won't work and a host of other issues. It is best to install a 2wd trans back in there.

STOP. what are you doing here? Fix the spark issue correctly by following the wiring diagram. Bypassing the harness will just cause more issues. A 4X4 trans will not work in a 2WD system. Do you have a repair manual to work with? If you don't repair this correctly you will cause a lot more issues. Is this truck charging? A low battery and not charging will cause all of these issues.

and i did fix the spark issue and it is no longer bypassed. all it needed was a new coil, coil wire and the wiring to the coil hooked up correctly. runs good, but the fuel pump is dead and the carb needs rebuilt. and i do not have the repair manual

I think the exhaust is in the way, rear trans crossmember is wrong, driveshaft has to be replaced, hole cut for the second shifter and I am sure I missed a lot of other stuff. I highly recommend not doing it.
