have been running m 32/36 weber for quite a while now
but latel i have noticed it will randomly not drop down to idle when i let off the gas or hit the clutch. sometimes it stays around 2k rpm and occasionally it will creep up to 2500+, tapping the gas like you would to kick the choke off doesnt change it.
im trying to figure out if it is something sticking open in the carb or if i need to get a new throttle cable, i notice it happening more during longer drives but that may just be because im sitting there longer.

Try Seafoam in your fuel.Cleans your fuel system out.Try carb spray too...but but the good stuff.

I had the same problem. The throttle linkage was sticking. I sprayed WD-40 around the throttle linkage and that freed up the linkage.
