1979 LUV 2WD short bed base model; 1.8 L w/3 speed auto... The voltage regulator is giving me pain... Want to swap it out with an alternator with an internal regulator. Is it possible to use the Chevy one wire? Or is there something easier?

Can put the Alt. in with no problem... I just need to know what to do with the 5 wires coming out of the regulator... I can't find any wiring diagrams online for the 1979 LUV. Everything is original and clean, just don't want to fry anything... Any suggestions?
