I am looking to purchase a multi layer gasket for my 1980 head. The mfg does not make one for that model but asked if there were newer years that used the same head they might have one...any ideas...thanks Ryan

the G180 was used up until the mid 80's, I think either 84 or 85. I believe there was one or two years with no 1.8, then the 2.3 came out in 86

there was also the g200 1.9L
then the 2.3 (carb) and 2.6 (efi) engines came out mid 80's
not sure what else uses them... check out ozgemini.com they use g180's for turbo builds frequently so they would know where to look for the right part
