I wanted to know if you can use body parts off of a 1982 s10 for a 1981 luv. I need to get rocker panels and floor pans and have not found a place that sells them for this year. i can only find parts for a s10 i dont know if they are the same or if they are different. any info on this will help thanks

There was no 1982 S10. The S10 is a completely different truck. Some S10 trucks had Isuzu engines, so some engines and related components are interchangeable, but that's it. There were no later S10 body parts that will fit a LUV.

You should look for Isuzu P'ups ('81-'87), but you may just need to get a whole cab.

Hey thanks jack I'll look into that i found a 81 that was just put on the yard a week ago hopefully the bed or the cab is still in good shape better then mine atlest. I just didn't know if any s10 parts would work they just looked similar so I thought I attest try. Rust has just rotted out my entire floor and all the other body work it might just be ezer to swap the whole cab I'll let you know what I do

They did make an S10 in 1982. It had the Isuzu drivetrain in it...

I thought '83 was the first year. Now you have me wondering. I've been wrong before.
Okay, I humbly admit my error! It's listed in RockAuto.com's parts catalog. My apologies to the original poster. Regarding body parts, they're still not interchangeable with the LUVs.
