OK guys, can any of you point me to a thread that will explain how to pull my stock carb. and replace it with the following? Or can you tell me if this is the right kit for a stock 80 model 1.8?

WK663 - 32/36 DGEV-IC MAZDA, NISSAN, TOYOTA, CHEVROLET, FORD
Kit comes complete with new 32/36 DGEV-IC carburetor, manifold adapter, linkage, chrome air filter, hardware kit, and fully illustrated instructions.

This description comes from http://www.webercarbsdirect.com/product_p/wk663.htm

Loosing my company ride and having to put the Ol Luv back in service.

Thanks,
Robert

ok robert i cant say if thats the correct carb kit (mobile browser wont open the link) but the way to remove the carb is by removing the 4x 12mm nuts around the base of the carb, disconnect throttle cable, fuel lines,

(*** use a open/closed ended wrench you cant fit a socket in there with a socket wrench*** the front driver side nut is a pita to get to if your using a full length wrench i have a set of mini wrenches from craftsman i used)

plugging all the vacuum lines (or reroute them to other vacuum ports on the manifold) except the one to the distributor advance remove the emissions pump and plug the 4 holes with 14mm spark plug and then mount the weber/redline baseplate install studs and mount the weber... simple...

the weber is concidered an off road use by c.a.r.b. and most emissions states call it fail for non stock parts
