i would assume that its the original carb.. i didnt see any weber markings on the front of it anywhere
i have to be to work by 8am so i think im going to race the hell out of the motor and see if that helps clean out the carb any.... cause right now a redline kit and or an offenhauser kit are out of budget... at least for a few months...
fuel pump came with an inlet filter and running a plastic see through filter just past the pump its self... idk if i can get away with a filter at the tank or not with the pump i got??? pump rating 10gph @ 2.5-4psi should be enough fuel i would think? yep it took me just over an hour to drain a full tank of gas last night haha...
will pull the carb off tonight and blow it out with some air and see if that helps any...
other then the air pump and its respective lines what else should i be removing to bypass the emissions controls?
and beings that these were sold prior to 1980 should i be running higer octane fuel? i mean these were sold right at the end of the use of leaded fuels? not like i would run 110ll aircraft fuel on the road or anything
