I read on a wiki, from PlanetIsuzoo, about wheel compatibility with the Trooper.

100mm hub bore, means Toyota wheels won't fit???

Is this true of the LUV hub spindles? Right now, I've got the drum brakes on all fours, but will be upgrading to discs on my 2wd very soon.

Supposed to get a set of 4x4 4runner wheels, so I hope they fit...

FWIW, my friend, the last owner of my '75 LUV, had 17" Caddy Escalade wheels on....

So what's up with all this cross compatibility?

Wheel hub bores are easily machined to fit the Luv, wheel offset is the real PITA.

It does have a license plate so technically it is a street truck, that sets off car alarms and makes kids cry. lol

I suppose all this was relevent to a 4x4, not a 2x4 anyways...

I bought the Toyota wheels....15" steel 4runner/Pickup wheels with 225/75/15.

They went on, no question....There isn't really a hub ring on the drums of my '75...wondering if discs will change that riddle.

Got to massage out the front lower arch a bit to clear the inner front left tire.

Looks sick!
