I've recently had to re-install the timing chain on my g180 and im having trouble getting the crank in time with the cam. my chiltons book only covers 1972-1975 and mine is a 79 of course. i have the pointer on the crank pulley pointed to 5degreesBTC with number one cylinder. the cam sprocket has a circle timing mark with a triangle next to it. Please help! this book is of no help and if I dont get it fixed I am going to sell both my 79 Luvs. If anyone can tell me exactly what im looking for it would greatly appreciated. my next post will be the classifieds.
