Tis all good. I have enough for the clutch now and then some, got the rebuild kit in the mail today, go to the parts store tomorrow and pick up the clutch, next weekend I'll have enough for a carb (32/36 weber brand new on ebaymotors for $100 shipped). After I buy that I'll have some moola left over for random other parts, last weekend before school I'll make another hundred, and that will be for the rotor cap, water pump, and all the wires. Should be up and runnin in no time (no time to me is a few weeks. hah)

Btw, don't have to buy a new oil pump, and I still have to buy a fan. Icky.

*Calling Autozone*

Theres a chemical I can dip my clutch in to get all the oil off, but that risks if I put it back in and it does mess up I have to pull the engine again.

All I really need is the clutch and throwback bearing or whatever, and those are only $20 some, yet dad says it would just be better to buy the pressure plate too. Why? Why not save the $100?!?! I don't understand!

ha-forget that you need a 4wd compatible clutch-which is 99.99-not bad IMO

Good job on the $85 though, didn't know I had a 2WD now . The one I'm gonna get though is the $100 kit, free shipping.

You could make it 2WD! :D You'd even save money on the clutch!

good luck catching me Mr. 74 hp...
in case you forgot

Truck of the Year or not, the LUV 4x4 was less than swift. Motor Trend measured it traipsing from zero to 60 mph in a bleak 17.4 seconds with the quarter-mile going by in an unbearable 20.7 seconds at just 64.3 mph. By the standards of the 21st century, the LUV was incredibly slow. Except, that is, in showrooms, as Chevy dealers pushed 100,192 of the tiny pickups through them during the year.

Hey dickweed, 80 hp.

It may be slow, but I won't be the one stuck in traffic, I'll be the one hopping the median.

Remember, I can always catch you if your sitting still.

8O 8O OFF TOPIC 8O 8O

so pretty much the only thing that needs to be gotten/bought/had/wtfever is the radiator fan blade? Mayhaps you should go an aftermarket fan?
