 Post subject: Oil Pan

Just bought a LUV Truck a couple of days ago and it turns out the original owner welded the oil pan plug directly onto the pan. Unless some of you can figure out why someone would do that ('cause I have no idea); I was wondering where I could order a new one or if any of you in my area (poulsbo, washington) know of a good store or junkyard. Thank you to anyone that responds to this post.
