Well you are definitely in the right place. What we need to know first are things like: what engine you want (Ford (why that?) Small Block Chevy), manual or automatic tranny, street or stip use, etc. Also if your truck is a two or four wheel drive. Give us an idea of just what you want and you will get more advice than you can shake a stick at. Also look at the pics posted in the projects section which will help with any ideas you might want to try.

I am going to a chevy 400 trans two wheel drive. I am doing strip and street.

well unless you already have the 400 trans i would recomend going whith s 350trans. They have less parasitic drain, but if you have the 400 then theres no problem whith them.

:D i luv my ford motor in mine lot of work to that chevy to run fast lol i luv them all as long as it runs good if i had to do it again 4.3 trubo charged would b a good choice small block chevy by far is the eazyst one to do
