Is it the clutch arm, or the bracket that is breaking? You guys got me thinking about this ...and yea ..i went and looked. I could see where the bracket might break...but the arm it self???

mine was the bracket that holds the clutch and wraps around the brake pedal. it broke around the pin that holds and pivots the clutch pedal.

a little advise if you take it off...the brake light switch is mounted on this bracket too. you will have to unhook it. when you go to put the bracket back in make sure the wires are hooked up right on this switch.....someone i know drove around for awhile with no brake lights because he hooked the wires up backasswards. :oops: :lol:

Thanks for all the replies. I figured this was a common problem, but didn't expect such a large response. I have fixed mine for now but I'm still working on fabricating a whole new bracket for the clutch pedal itself. If I come up with something good I'll post some pics to maybe help some of the others with this problem.
