well,

dad came over and helped me bleed the brakes.

kept questioning my every move. i told him we needed to bleed the master cylinder first, but he kept asking why...

anywho, here is a good question that i'm having trouble figuring out.


when installing new shoes, you have to take the adjusting rod at the bottom down to zero right?
i did just that, and had a HELL of a time trying to fit the drum over the new shoes. i couldn't turn the trum AT ALL.

i'm used to the older 70's chevy brake systems, so is it that it just needs to be driven for a bit and it will be better?

also, i know these brakes are supposed to be "self-adjusting", but i'm not too sure how it works. anyone care to explain?
