Well, after a nightmare of trying to register my LUV, it just doesn't have the stock carb (Which is unusable garbage!) or any of the smog stuff (worthless) so I cannot register it in CA.

So... I am a vin inspection away from getting it tagged as a California Off Highway Vehicle.

The other day (Yesterday) I took it out on a really difficult trail (I live in the mountains) and had a large branch go through my radiator.

I walked home (A few miles) and grabbed my Trail 110, a torch, solder, flux, and a 20MM ammo can full of water. I went back and curled the damaged cores, and fluxed and soldered them good enough to get the truck home. I limped the truck home, and so far the passenger rear tire is almost torn in half, the exhaust is disconnected somewhere, and the radiator needs to be pressure tested for leaks, but it got me home. It had almost no power coming home, but that could be from the tire.

Anyway, I just want to say it is possible to get yoru truck registered as an OHV here.
