I got a passanger side top hinge to put on my drivers door (the passangers have a lot less use on them), and now I'm having trouble adjusting the door. The door needs to be raised up, as it won't close with out lifting up on the door. Also where the door sticks out more next to the fender than before.

The new hinge has no play in it, so I know it's good. I see that the side of the hings that bolts to the door has slots that go from left to right.

Do I need to loose up the lower hinge? Or can I just make adjustments using the upper?

loosen the bottom and top close the door , have someone out side the truck raise or lower the door with a screwdriver and the bottom and then from the inside tighten the bolts

Ctmandu, I take it I the part of the hinge that bolts to the cab is for raising and lower the door, and the the side of the thing that bolts do the door is moveing it from left to right?

I will try your suggestion though. Thanks! 8)

I first adjusted the cab side hinges and raised the door. The door was binding a little, so I loosened up the fender and moved it forward about an 1/8 of an inch. Then I loosned the door side of the hinge and moved it in some.

Thanks for you help Ctmandu!
