Hi al,

New to the forum amazed to find it but yahoo that I did.

Need some previous experience here.

Where are the auto adjuster springs just pulled the hub off a 73.

and not sure what I'm looking at. Is the adjuster stuff behind the shoes?
I'm used to Mazda's I'm afraid with rear drums and manual adjustment.

My olds have an very clean 74 LUV and have been told the springs on their's
are incorrect or faulty. I have found a webb site in the US that can supply many
parts but there are no listing for these springs.

I wouls rather put discs on the front but as good as stock will have to
do in the short term.

Any advise much appreciated.

Hi from OZ.

Pat

Do yourself a favour and ditch the drum brakes, find a 2wd 81-84 Holden Rodeo swap the disc brakes to your Luv. Its a easy bolt on conversion, dont forget to swap the master cylinder also. Pease post pics off your olds 74.

Thanks bud,

this is the kind of inside info I need.

Bolt on conversion is what I'm after.
Sounds like a trip to a wrecker coming up.

Some questions though.

Is the PCD "stud patter" the same?
Will the stock steel wheels fit over the disc setup?
