I'm gonna change the oil tomorrow to see if it fixes it but my oil light flickers every so often and it stays on when I'm idling just not when I'm driving. Does this mean the oil level is low or is it something else? Any helps is appreciated thanks guys.

It means the oil pressure is low. Can be caused by several things: Oil level too low, worn bearings causing low pressure, wrong oil weight ie 5-30 instead of 10-30 or 10-40 for example, idle speed too low (should be 900 rpm), or even a bad oil sender unit. If it persists you need to check it with a known accurate gauge.
Light should come on at 5-7 lbs or less.
