After I bought my luv a tire blew and tore about 2 feet of the muffler off. Will it still pass smog like this? The truck runs great.

Any ideas on how I should repair it. I cannot weld?

You will not pass smog, because thier sniffer machine will nto be able to detect any exhaust.

If you cannot weld, you can purchase a U bolt setup that tightens down on one side of the muffler line and allows you to attach another portion to it without welding. This internet is slow (library) so I cannot look it up for you.

or you can take it to the muffler shop and they will fix it just one more option

If you just need a quick temporary fix to get through the smog test, bailing wire and a beer can do wonders. As long as you didn't damage the cat the actual emissions should be the same.
