Granted I'm spitballin' here, but if all it took was an adapter plate, couldn't a Borg Warner T5 bolt up to a G180? Check out this one site http://www.britishv8.org/Articles/Borg- ... D-Tags.htm There's a couple isuzus on there and a 1991 rodeo used one as well. I thought I heard people saying a tranny out of a mid eighties s10 would work. Has anyone done this or is this the kind of project that'll take someone to the poor house? You guys are awesome! I love this site.

The T5 was used in the s10 behind the Isuzu c223 diesel, the bellhousings are highly sought after. A T5 would be sweet behind a G180, it would give you more stick location options also.

It does have a license plate so technically it is a street truck, that sets off car alarms and makes kids cry. lol

Does that mean it'll bolt right up? I mean, what exactly would have to be done for it to work?
