Can you tell me the length of the Input Shaft Length on both the LUV Isuzu 4spd and the PUP Isuzu 5spd.

I got a machine shop that says if that it is 6.5 inches, he can make an adapter to fit my 215 to it.

Thanks
Rigel

I happen to have my lovely engine out, right now. From the tip of the shaft to the inside base of the bellhousing, or the throwout bearing?

Mine is a 4 speed.

Tip to bearing:3.5"
Tip to bellhousing:6.5"

Sweet than I am so much closer to making it work.

Would anyone like to bolt up a BOP(C) engine to the stock tranny? I have a machine shop that says they can make an adapter if the the input shaft was 6.5 inches long. The same as a BOP(C).

Thanks
Gareth

That is interesting. I have a Buick 350. Would you find out how much the cost is? Could he do it for a Chevy small block, or just the BOP?
