as the title says; my choke and temp guage are not operating and in my glancing around have not found where the sending unit is located

Well depending on the year of you truck and if it's still stock, the choke is either manual or electric. The temp. sending unit is under the intake manifold. It's at the front of the eng., underneath. A mirror may help you see it.

more specifically right under the thermostat. Follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the intake manifold. then look on the bottom side. another useful piece of information is a wiring diagram. they can be found in the information section on the luvtruck.com home page.
