...Does anyone know how much it is? There's a motor to be shipped in the works, but I haven't the foggiest how much it weighs. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

i was going to guess that the block whith nothing on it was about 150lbs becouse i could just lift it and carry it to my work bench when i rebuilt my motor.

Well , there is at least two different Haynes manuals. The one i got the info out of is the Haynes Workshop Manual. I couldnt find it in the Automotive Repair Manual. It is listed on page 17..." 342 lb dry, and 355 lb with oil and coolant".I would hope it is being shiped dry! If not someones truck might be a little messy!!

seems like quite a differance from the 165lbs i got....then again it may have been my 'redneck" way of weighing it

I don't know Larp, my bathroom scales say that I weigh 215 lbs. That is crap cause I haven't weighed that since I was in jr. high. I am 27 now. I weighed myself on the scales at work and I am more like 255. Wonder if my wife has been jackin with those scales?
