 Post subject: disc brakes

I am in the process of chang my disc brakes on my 1980 chevy livid. When i get my new pads in the caliper then it will not slide back down over rotors. What am i doing wrong?

You need to push the caliper piston back in to the caliper. I have used a C Clamp on the old pad to push it back in.
