Hello everyone,
In 2013 I started working in Fort Irwin, CA and my boss had an awesome little truck that I joked about wanting. It was then that I learned about the LUV. Well, fast forward to January of 2022 and I received a unfortunate phone call, that my old boss passed away and that his wife was offering the truck to me.
So a good friend of mine flew out to California and picked up the truck with me on 12 May 2022. Our intention is to drive it back to Michigan via what is left of Route 66 as my old boss had dreamed of doing. The downside is that it sat out in the desert it's entire life and was in need of some much needed LUV. I will attach a couple of links below that I hope you will enjoy and appreciate, and possibly even throw in some pointers here and there.
We will be posting updates frequently and hope to meet some of you along the way. I have used this forum to gain tons of knowledge and figured it was time to sign up. I am looking forward to the future with this truck as it has been amazing so far.
