Looking for 2 dome light lamp housings. Are the ones on ebay from thailand worth buying for the total $60...... I thought I had a good one I was taking off my parts luv and it cracked when taking it off. Very weak part. Or any suggestions on what to do would be helpful.
Thank you

I'm kinda surprised nobody has 3D-printed these by now. That seems like it should work.

I had a buddy make me a 3D printed lens for my dome light. I made a new base and put the lens over it but I used 12v LEDs instead of the factory bulb. There is a video on YouTube of putting it together. The Lens was a little rough and I sanded and smoothed it some what. I think it needs a little more work to make it better but it works and glows in the dark after you turn it off. If I get a 3D printer I will try again.

It may be "rough", but it's still not brittle! :D

Downloaded some 3D software today and it looks like it wouldn't be too hard to duplicate the dome light lens. I am going to check out some printers now...
