Well I've been lurking and this will by my #2 post.
Las Vegas guy and looking at getting a small truck and I found one that's super rough but it might be following me home. The truck "runs" and isn't too far from Las Vegas proper so it's an hourish drive.

I'm a huge chevy fan and never have owned one of these yet so hopefully things work out.

Im new also, but just food for thought. If you are a "Chevy Guy", you do realize these aint Chevys, they are an Isuzu.. ;) But I have seen any guys dropping LS motors in them making them an actual Chevy, so there's that.. lol.. But anyway, am in your boat. New to these little Luvs, and looking to learn more about them.. ;)

Heart of an Isuzu but the bowtie makes it good enough for me. :lol:

So I did the 1 hour drive to check out the truck and it looks better than I thought but still very rough. Only 1 little hold in the passenger side floor board so that I made me happy.
Engine turned over with my battery and that made me happy but gas tank cap is missing and in a place called Sandy Valley I'll give you 3 guesses what it's filled with.

Plus's+++
Engine turned over with first crank!
Most of the glass is there but needs a new windshield and 1 wing window.
No rust on the frame.
All original engine but the electric fan looks a little wonky and not original. Did they come like that?
Has all 4 wheels but flat tires.

Minus's----
Possible replacing every rubber bit on the front end.
No tailgate.
Interior is shot 100%
Looks like the front might have hit something so the passenger side bumper isn't straight at all and kind of cockeyed.
Headlight switch is missing...hard to find?

Any idea what year it is? New windshields can be found. rubber seals can be found or at least close matches can be found for most of it. The gas tank can be cleaned out by a radiator shop or a good used one can be found or even a fuel cell be installed. The fan is not original. They had a belt driven solid, plastic fan unless it has factory A/C, then it was a clutched, plastic fan.
