Hey, i've got a 1979 4x4 Chevy Luv and i figured i'd start all my questions here and then if some don't get answered move them to more specific sections.

How exactly do you get more lift out of your t-bars? is their a thread/video/article that talks about this? I already have a 3" body lift and would like to add at least 2" to give me better clearance and room to upgrade these 24" tires.

On that note, what (bigger) tire sizes have you guys gotten away with, without major modifications? (axle-swap, trimming the body, that sorta thing).

Is a new carburetor an obvious upgrade? Still running stock.

Is there one awesome source to get most parts?

What bench seats have you put in?

"Deep Breath"
That's all, for now  if you can answer any of theses questions or point me to threads that do, i would greatly appreciate it!

For sure get a Weber 32/34 if you still have the stock Hitachi. Not much difference in price no matter where you get it should be about $300. Next up would be to upgrade the points to Pertronix electronic ignition, about $90. Take the belt off the air pump or delete it. My little truck is stock so I can't help with the lift kit stuff or big tires. Good luck, post pics.
