I got this truck years ago, and just started to really get into it. Im very new in any swap. But this has been my chilhood dream for awhile, owning and building a 350 luv. Im 30 in september and want nothing more than to cruise this baby. My first car was a 78 long bed chopped on leaf springs (tow yard auction for 250.) They pulled the 406 and the muncie, sold the truck to me, and i put a late 70 to early 80s 350 wih the 350 turbo tranny(we didnt run the numbers at the time.)

I need help with mounting the tranny, everything else we can do ourselves. Exhaust leak is there, vacuum leak im certain is somewhere. Im just curious on how to mount the tranny? Do i need to put a new crossbar in? Should it line up alright with the previous set up? Where should i go to get the right mounts? My buddy who did it said they dont line up and i need new mount. His father said i just need new bars.

I want to do everything i can tomorrow, if anyone can help please. I need my gauges done too.if anyone wants to come look at it thatd be a plus. Im in graham washington,y number is 253 3six5 8two6five

The mount is on the tranny, my buddy just said it doesnt line up with the crossbar. He did most the work after we dropped the motor and tranny in, in exchange for a car. He had a muncie in it so im just wondering if he changed the crossbar, or if we have to change it to fit the th350. I was hopeing someone would be familiar with the build he had
