Just bought a 1980 Luv for my sons first car. Only 80k miles! interior is perfect and the body is straight and rust free. spent a few hours buffing it and i'm amazed at the results. Ordered a new redline weber carb. Just waiting for it to be delivered. Id like to add AC. Is there a parts list somewhere? I searched the forums and have been unable to find anything. Love this Luv! Very cool little truck.

Welcome. Wow! that is a perfect front bumper. Those are hard to find these days. Nice truck.
A/C can be added, you would have to find a donor truck or someone who took theirs off and saved all the parts. Depending on how much you want to spend, a place like http://www.vintageair.com/ could probably set you up with something.

DAYUM! Had to have been garaged or under a tarp for years. Best dash I've seen since I stupidly sold my black 79 4x4.

You need to show us many more and up close features.

I have all the service records up to 69k. It was definitely taken care of. Someone pulled off the air pump, plugged all the vacuum, and converted it to electronic ignition. Carb was leaking and running way rich, it ran like crap. I set the timing and mixture and now it runs awesome! idler bushing needs to be replaced. Other than that, its strait and clean. I paid 2500 for it. Seemed like a good deal compared to anything else I could find at that price.

That is a great deal and now that you bought a Weber all the common stuff is done.
Wish my truck looked that good

If you have not found any a/c parts I have a drier/accumulator and maybe other parts will let you have for shipping

WELCOME 8)

It looks just like my 1st LUV & before i started in on it, bought in the 80's. A lot of these paint jobs buffed out pretty well well....finding info can be challenging at times but there's lots of information here I still haven't seen or read everything on here

might check the search feature w/ keywords or even start a thread asking for your needs....G'Luck

Suggestion: post them here, rather than linking to them. Some of us can't see "sharing" sites from work.

The truck looks too nice for an add-on A/C, in my opinion. I'm pretty sure it's like the 2nd gen trucks, in that the interior (dash) is already set up for A/C. A pipe between the blower fan and heater core comes out, and the evaporator unit goes in. Right, guys? Of course you need the controls and the under-hood components: condenser, compressor, bracket, lines, and dryer (get a new dryer, not used).
