I'm sure this has been brought up multiple times but I did a quick search and didn't find the exact info I was looking for. My timing chain broke in my 1.8 in my 1980 LUV and I was gonna replace it but I've heard I might have to pull the motor. I'm just wondering if this is true or not. I have a 2.6 I'm going to swap in eventually and if I have to pull the 1.8 to do this then I'd rather put the money into the swap rather than into a timing chain set and put my old motor back in. So i'd just basically like to know if I have to pull the motor to do a timing chain set with new tensioner, gears, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
