I am a member of a number of various GM car and truck forums, but am new to this one. I have a limited interest in LUV trucks.

I have a number of NOS LUV truck parts in my collection of GM parts and would love to find someone that could use them. There is such a limited interest in these parts, Craigslist does not seem like a good avenue to take. Also, I am not a fan of eBay, for obvious reasons.

First off, am I welcome to list these parts to see if anyone has any interest? If so, I did not see any sort of a classified ad section or anywhere else one would sell parts on the forum. Where would be an appropriate place to list them.

Thanks for your consideration.

The classified section is not visible unless you're a registered user and currently logged in. It should be visible to you now.

here is link for guidelines on selling stuff here... viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10542

The good thing about ebay is that offer some protection to both parties who are strangers... I've been taken before CL so no mail away stuff there anymore

OK! Let's take this another step, so I don't step on anyone's toes.

My father and I collected NOS parts at dealerships and swap meets for many years, before he passed away in late 2003. In about 2006, I purchased the collection of parts from my mother. I have since made a part-time job of selling the parts from my website: http://www.nospartsfromthepast.com . Despite having to incorporate for tax reasons and the potential amount of sales, I am a one-man show and do it in my spare time; in the evenings and weekends.

My next question would be; am I to be considered a commercial seller? I only have a total of 23 LUV truck parts in my inventory, some of which are so unusual or insignificant that no one may be interested. Again, I am only asking so I don't upset someone or break the rules of the forum.

I appreciate your input.

I'm an admin here. I don't have a problem with you listing your LUV stuff on here in the classified section. I would ask that you conduct all of your LUV part trading on this site, rather than referring people to your website (or some other site.)

You have clearly read and understand the rules, and I appreciate that.

I'm also eager to see what you have.

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone for your input. I had read all of the forum rules in the first place, so that was my way of asking permission. I was hoping that an admin would see it and give their input.

I will get my hands on the parts, make a list, take some photos, figger out some pricing and get it listed. I hope that someone will be interested.

Yes, I will keep all trading here on the forum. I don't have a shopping cart-type set-up on my website, so no gain there. A lot of my transactions go through PayPal, so there is some protection for buyers there (not that they need it with me). :)

Many thanks,

Olmanwinter

I would be happy to have a look at all of the LUV parts you have and let you know what they are worth before the rest of the site can see them. :D Just trying to help out.

Luvrv8, that would be great... just as long as you don't intend to buy any of them.
