How do you replace the wiper blades on a 78 luv. I have done modern blades, but this baffles me and I do not want to break anything.
There is No Hoop or Hook (or so it seems) to the arm to attach the replacement blade.
Again, I do not want to replace the entire Arm (IE, the large bolted portion)
Help Please.

on my 77 stock wiper arms there's a clip at the top end which you have to squeeze to get past the little tabs
look at the end and you'll see what i'm talking about & there might be one at both ends top & bottom of the wiper blade...G'Luck

I am aware of the "squeeze on the side" little tabs.

I am looking at replaceing more than just the "Refill", but also that portion that holds the refill. The refill keepers at the Head of the wiper.

oh ok ...but i answered the question asked on how to replace the wiper blades, ....you didn't ask about changing the refill keepers
the main support refill keepers if that what you want to call them is riveted on....Maybe be creative and drill the riveted pin out and design your own loop to attach a better one.
