Hi y'all
I have a 1980 mikado 4x4 with a manual trans. I don't know how to tell what size motor I have looks small. My front end is really hard and clicks when in 4wheel drive think it might be the cv's. My wipers are slow on the days they move at all. Also I was told I could put different running gear and axles for a wider wheel base but don't know what kind to use. Looking to give it a small lift only to put bigger tires for a mans all around truck for hunting fishing four wheeling. Also I live in Carson city Nevada is there anyone close for me to go to for help when I need it.

You won't get any help with the addiction here, just some enablers! :)

Welcome.

Jack

I think the clicking is normal. My 79 has done it since new, mainly hear it at low speed when turning. The original engine in them was 1.8L. Even if you could put different axles in the expense wouldn't be worth it IMO.
