hi,first time here.lots of good info but have searched around and cant seem to find an answer to my question,so here goes.i need off the shelf headers,prefer 1 3/4,long tube,inside frame.my truck is '80 Luv,406sbc,dart ANGLE plug heads(difficult part)...I have the luv conversion headers and they wont work with the angle plugs.no torsion bars(coilover conversion)thanks to info I got on this site.thanks for any help yall can give

No off the shelf in that size, or in frame. I don't see it happening in custom built either without some firewall mods to make room for all the tubes...

You can make the Hookers work buy rotating a couple of tubes . Gonna need a chassis shop to make them right though . I would then have them coated .

thanks.im gonna have to try something else cause my hookers block 2nd plug on lt side and hit oil pan(7qt) and block drain plug on rt side

Custom made headers are in the $1200 range. Ouch.... My buddy has some made for his Competition Eliminator class car. but nothing on those are cheap.

I had 2 cut both sides and add couplings to them to get the 2nd plugs to clear . My drain plug is tight to get out and the oil filter is a pain to get in and out .

Might be better off using some block hugger headers. Speedway motors catalog has some nice ones.
