 Post subject: newbie but good ideas

i just bought another chevy luv, had one in the past and regret selling it.
i want to know how hard it is to shorten the bed about a foot, and im going to bag the rear for now, where could i find parts online for the interior? and im looking for steel wheels that you can put the chrome dome looking hubcaps on any idea where to find them?

im in virginia by the way found this luv here and it was origionally from cali

well any wheel off of just about any Toyota 4x4, Nissan, Isuzu, Mitsubishi and a few others all have the same 6x 5.5 lug pattern as the luv so there are plenty of options
as for the bed im not sure but I am pretty sure when you are at a foot you will have to shorten the frame a little bit or have it visible. but im not sure I haven't looked into doing it but that part of the frame isn't really structural

Check the frame. It might be easier to shorten the front of the bed, gas tank location could effect either one.. Still it is some work to do either one. Chopping off the rear of the frame seems correct like love4theluv said. Search for a trailer build. Someone added a foot onto his bed. Same thing would apply. I think it is in the project/build section.
