So, I'm brand new to Luv trucks, I have a '79 2WD. She was running fine when I got her, but about a week ago she started blowing the Voltage Regulator Fuse. I replaced the Regulator and it seemed to fix the problem, right up until it started happening again. This time I took the Alternator in and tested it finding it to be bad, so I replaced it. But still the same problem. I replaced the new Regulator again, as it was under warranty, just to see if the bad Alternator fried the new Regulator. But still keeps blowing the Regulator fuse.

I also am going to note that I have replaced the old Carb with a brand New Weber one, but this problem was happening and "Fixed" before I installed it.

Has anyone else encountered this problem or has some insight? I really could use an extra opinion.

May not be the regulator as that fuse also operates the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, and the ignition bypass relay.
Fuel pump may be a likely suspect.
