Hi Luv enthusiasts, new to this forum. No specific question yet, just wanted to introduce myself. I've come into a 76 Luv pickup by way of a deal worked out with a buddy of mine, he's giving me the Luv in exchange for me doing some engine work on his Mazda B2600 pickup. The Luv was somebody's hot rod project which it appears they quit and gave up on halfway through. It has a mid-70's Camaro drivetrain (350/350TH combo) and the Camaro rear end, which is a little too wide for the pickup, so the rear wheels stick out a bit. But I know it does run because I helped my buddy get the engine running on this 4 or 5 years ago (and then HE lost interest and parked it, and it has sat since then). I figured I'd include my daughters boyfriend on it and let him earn the truck in sweat-equity, I already have many ongoing projects myself.

Any tips or suggestions from the start you'd care to impart? I'm going to tow it home in the next couple of weeks, right now it's still sitting in my friends back yard.

Welcome and if you take it apart be careful with the parts as they are getting hard to come by in some areas of the US .

Hello and welcome.
I'm not much of a poster here due to my limited mechanical knowledge, but my 78 luv is still puttering along in no small part due to this site and all the great help you can get here!
