I have a (new to me) 1979 4X4 LUV that I just adore.
The driver's side rear axle came off. I took it apart and found the lock washer tab that bends in to hold nut
had broken off and the nut is worn flat inside a section.

I cannot find these parts. Can someone please help me?!?

Thank you - Annie (from Cali) : )

Are you talking about the the retainer/washer for the large nut that holds the axel bearing on? If so it might be hard to find, you might need to buy a used axel to get one.

Thank you! Yes, I have found it challenging to find the parts. Good option, though : )
I'll post it if/when I find parts.

I think your best bet is to see if ISUZU used them on their later trucks, if so they might still be able to get them.

I think those parts are likely to be the same in Isuzu pickups and Troopers up to 1986. After that it gets iffy. 1981-1986 I'm not even certain of but they should be same as the axles didn't change much.
