Has anyone heard of and/or have any information on a Chevy Luv Hawk. I just bought one (1978) for $500. I have never heard of one and I have been around these for almost 30 years.

Never heard of it either. Pics and more info please.

Only thing I can find is that there is a Chevy dealer in Chicago called Hawk Chevy, I wonder if this might be some kind of dealer option thing like Yenkos or Cascade Edition Camaros.

It does have a license plate so technically it is a street truck, that sets off car alarms and makes kids cry. lol

It must be the same as the LUV Phantom.

My dad bought me a 1978 luv truck when I was 14. I am now 41. It had a faded factory white paint with chevy hawk and a pic of a hawk on the sides of bed. 4cyl 4speed. Don't know what chevy hawk meant but I think it was just 'flair'. It was a short bed and for some reason I think it was a 'sport' model. I thought I was cool driving that thing around the neighborhood lol . He bought it off the neighbor for 75 bucks, blown head gasket I think .
