Ok I bought my beat up luv from a farmer for $100 runs good and 4x works good my issue is when I first turn the key to start all I get is a click but then I turn the key to off and it fires right what could be causing this? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated

Starter solenoid, take it off & clean or replace it or the entire starter assembly, it will only get worse.
