I have never paid more than $400 the other luvs I have purchased. Guy is asking $1700 but the truck is in way better shape than any I have owned before.

What's it worth to YOU? It looks pretty good. Is it all stock? Does the a/c work? How much work needs to be done to make it how you want?

$1700 isn't unreasonable for a good running truck.

Not sure about the ac.... But as long as it runs decent I don't mind putting new tires and some maintence on it.. When the funds are their ill start restoring it. He said he'd take a $1000 for it so I think that's reasonable due to its condition. There aren't many that pop up this close to me.

It's got a good body. $1000 is plenty fair IMO.

Should be worth a thousand...as long as it does what you need it to do at the moment. The body looks pretty good for a 4x4. How many miles are on it? How well does it run, any leaks, does 4 wheel drive work, shape of the CV boots/joints, do the (lights, windshield wipers turn signals, gages and so forth) work? It looks nice but without knowing some of the above info it's tough to tell.

Check out that rust real good on it before you put the cash down. I see it under the tailgate and on the rocker panels. Also look under the hood by the relay box cover. Good thing it isnt a little closer (and in a better town, Gillette sucks) or you would have some competition for it. :ebiggrin

I wouldn't go more than 800 honestly.check the 4x4 out make sure all lights work. Check under carpet to see floorpan condition check for any frame damage or rust. When test driving get it up to 65 as that's about all your gonna run.

I just bought my second luv last week for $400 although it has a little more rust and needed Carb rebuilt and a gas tank. It only has 65k original with every maintenance record since its left the dealership lot in 1980.
