Hello i am new to this site and i love the fact that there is a website just dedicated to Chevy Luvs! thats awsome! anyways i love these trucks and recently i have been offered to buy a 1976 Chevy Luv for 550, but the catch is that it does not pass smog because it needs a suppose "smog pump" and the whole assembly. I tested the truck and it runs, but like i said it does not pass smog. I really want it and i looked around (the bay area or in California) and could not find any. If someone knows where i can find one with all the assembly i would really appreciate it. Thanks for the lift and have a nice day.

I'll preface by saying you'll have to check to be sure everything is compatible, of course, but I just bought some parts from Figuarus, who has your pump and some other related equipment. If you're cool with paying for shipping from Salt Lake City, that is. He has photos of the smog pump and a few other smog-related things available here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25979
He's a good guy. Contact him to find out the model year of the truck they came from.

I've also got unused smog equipment on my 75 luv, but I cant speak for compatibility with the 76. The info section has parts manuals which should answer all of those questions for you.
