 Post subject: suspension swap ? 's

I have access to a 1986 toyota running gear with ifs this being front and rear axles, suspension tranfercase and prolly tranny if I need it along with erything like driveshafts and such. That being said I have a ' 80 4x4 would the toyota running gear be a compatible swap and would it give some lift?

I searched but couldn't find anything about whether the ifs would lift or fit

Anything will fit if you have the mechincal skills.
This truck has all toyota running gear in it.

ps, no I know nothing about it anymore, I tried to buy it about 12 years ago but the guy wanted about double what I wanted to pay.

The Toyota IFS is 4" wider F&R than a LUV. It would be a lot of work & fabrication to mount it to a LUV frame. Much easier would be a solid Toy front axle & you can get all the lift you want fairly easily.
