I got a 72 luv for free the other day and I am not sure how to put the gas tank in. The luv has a Buick v6 in it and the buick gas tank is in the bed of the truck. I do not know how to intall it. They guy I got it from said that it ran and he took the fuel tank out because he was going to install a fuel cell. Any help would be appreciated

Personally I would run a fuel cell also, or go back to the stock tank, I have a Buick in mine and use the stock fuel tank. The buick tank is going to look horrible in the bed and you are going to have to custom fab mounts.

I have a gas tank out of a 78 longbed sitting next to my garage.
You can have it if it will work,pretty sure it's the same as the shortbeds.
